Spirituality, other dimensions, etheric double

Science has just determined that at the beginning matter was plasma.  What happened and how did it change to matter as we know it today?  Is it possible that clouds, as we read about in the Bible, came before plasma?  We have to keep an open mind , while we investigate the greatest puzzles of  our presence on earth.
